Our Story

Grassroots Solidarity Advocates is a dynamic organisation dedicated to promoting Social justice and human rights, Culture and civic participation. We use a strategic multi-faceted approach to ensure sustainability of our interventions to drive policy and law reforms while addressing systemic and structural challenges affecting national development. Our strategic focus areas are;

Creating solution platforms: Empowering local communities, private institutions, and government to collaborate on finding sustainable beneficiary driven solutions to identifiable community and national challenges.
Promoting Culture and Artistic Freedom: We defend Cultural rights while advocating for the rights of artists to express themselves freely, earn a living, and promote their art without censorship or repression.
Promoting justice : We work to promote a fair and equitable justice system that serves all members of society through policy and reform advocacy, legal support, and government technical assistance.

Our approach is holistically designed to ensure that Grassroots Solidarity Advocates addresses the root causes of community or national challenges while promoting human rights and community development, citizen participation and building solutions through strategic partnerships.

Our values are Partnerships, Solidarity and Accountability. Our model places Grassroots Solidarity Advocates as governments accountability and development partner, mobilizing solidarity for social justice and human rights enjoyment in Zambian communities..
