Thompson Luzendi is an activist and organizational strategist currently serving as the Organizational Change Lead at ActionAid Denmark. In this role, he spearheads the organization’s efforts to support civil society organizations in becoming more movement-minded, building their capacity to organize, mobilize, and sustain collective action for justice and equity.
A proud graduate of both the University of Lusaka and the Copperbelt University, Thompson blends academic grounding with real-world activism. His work is rooted in the belief that with the right support, young people hold the power to transform their communities. Over the years, he has led and supported numerous direct actions and youth-led initiatives across Africa, advocating for systems change, social justice, and grassroots leadership.
Passionate about participatory governance and equity, Thompson continues to champion the role of civic movements in shaping democratic societies.
